April L. McClintock, 67, of Littlestown, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care Wednesday, July 19, 2017. 

Born August 29, 1949, in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion (Miller) O’Brien.  She was the loving wife of Thomas E. McClintock with whom she shared forty-five years of marriage.

April was a member of New Hope Faith Community Church, Hanover, PA, and A.A.R.P.

Mrs. McClintock was a 1967 graduate of Hanover High School.  She worked as an LPN at the Hanover Hospital, Hanover Hall Nursing Center, the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, and most recently at Golden Visions Adult Day Care Center.    

April enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, gloating on family and friends, and loved correspondence, even making her own cards.

In addition to her loving husband, Thomas, April is survived by her children, Todd M. McClintock of Hanover, PA, Chad M. McClintock of Littlestown, PA and Megan Sue McClintock of Littlestown, PA; five grandchildren, Zachary, Brady, Ashley, Kelsy and Andy; and a brother, Kevin J. O’Brien of Hanover, PA.  She was preceded in death by a brother, David O’Brien.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember April’s life will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at New Hope Faith Community Church, 33 Sunday Drive, Hanover, PA, with Rev. J. R. Reaver officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc. 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, and from 9:00-10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in April’s memory to the American Cancer Society York/Adams, Attn: Memorial, 924 N Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403 or to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
