Cathy D. Kump, 60, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Thusday, August 25, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born March 8, 1956 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dora (Rohrbaugh) Hartlaub. Cathy was the loving wife of Paul E. Kump with whom she was together for 30 years.

Cathy was a graduate of New Oxford High School.

She was employed by Schindler Elevator for over 20 years. In her free time, Cathy enjoyed trips to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Cathy is survived by her son, Terry L. Hartlaub of Hanover, PA, her step-children, LeeAnn of Virginia, Laura and her husband Nelson Leiphart of Gardners, PA, Brian Kump of Gettysburg, PA, 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her brother, David W. Hartlaub of Gettysburg, PA and her sister, Beverly E. Kane. She was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Kelly Jo.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 66 E. Hanover Street, Gettysburg (Bonneauville), PA with Rev. Timothy Kielley officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 10:00-10:30 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
