Charlotte H. Clark, 92, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the SpiriTrust Lutheran Home at Utz Terrace, with her loving family by her side.

Born July 4, 1923 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cletus G. and Ida M. (Hoff) Hershey.  Charlotte was the loving wife of the late William H. Clark, Jr who died July 10, 2001.

Charlotte was a 1941 graduate of Eichelberger High School.  While in high school and upon graduation she worked at the J.C. Penny Co., then later for the Hanover Borough Water Department before deciding to start a family.  While raising her children she worked at Eiserman’s for many years.

Charlotte was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, The Hanover YWCA and the Y Wives Club as well as the National and Local A.A.R.P. Chapter 2812.

Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Lori K. Smith of Hanover, PA, Priscilla C. Sible of Scranton, PA; 3 grandchildren, Jason R. Sible, Holly K. Liska, and Jennifer C. Sible; two great grandchildren, Alexander and Daniel.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris H. Eiserman and Lillian H. Hansford; and one brother, Kenneth B. Hershey.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Charlotte will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
