Christine E. Thompson, 66, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 21, 1951 in Berea, OH, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Helen (Makey) Bitner.  Christine was the loving wife of Lawrence E. Thompson with whom she shared over thirty-five years of marriage.

Christine was a 1969 graduate of Hanover High School and attended Pennsylvania State University.  She was the former owner and operator of Pressell’s Florist until selling the business in 2006.

In addition to her loving husband, Lawrence, Christine is survived by her siblings, Ira A. Bitner, II, Darrell L. Bitner and Melanie Bitner Washburn, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
