Craig A. Warner, 64, of Hanover, PA, died peacefully, Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Home, Hanover, PA.
Born September 12, 1953 in York, PA, he was the son of Iva L. (Carroll) Warner and the late Melvin L. Warner. Craig was the loving husband of Joanne E. (Eline) Warner with whom he shared forty-five years of marriage.
Craig was a 1971 graduate of South Western High School. He was the Warehouse Manager for Del-Wood Kitchens for 33 years until his retirement in May 2017.
Mr. Warner was a member of St. David’s United Church of Christ.
Craig was a member of the Hanover Home Association, the Home Association of McSherrystown, the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club and the Loyal Order of Moose-McSherrystown #720.
In addition to his loving wife Joanne, Craig is survived by a daughter, Stacey L. Nesbitt and husband David of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren, Owen, Joshua and Breanne Nesbitt; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lisa M. Bankert and husband Robert of Littlestown, PA and Sheila F. Myers and Lesley R. Warner, both of Hanover, PA. He was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Timothy M. Myers.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Craig will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at St. David’s United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 9:00-11:00AM, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Craig’s memory to St. David’s United Church of Christ-Memorial Fund, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA 17331 or to the Visiting Nurse Association of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
