Dolores M Small, 88, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at SpriTrust Lutheran the Village at Utz Terrace, Hanover, PA. 

Born January 24, 1929 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Susan F. (Marinchock) Carfagno.  She was the loving wife of the late Roth Eugene Small, who died May 8, 2004.

Dolores was a 1946 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and attended Simmons College in Boston, MA where she studied library science.    

Mrs. Small was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.

Dolores was an avid bridge player, reader and Notre Dame football fan.  She enjoyed doing needlework and especially loved spending time with her family.

Dolores is survived by her children, Gregory D. Small of Hanover, PA, Jeffrey T. Small of Hanover, PA, Lisa J. Wolfgang of Lewes, DE, and Eric E. Small of Dallas TX; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joan Huber of Lexington, KY.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Giles 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 7, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Monsignor James M. Lyons as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, April 7, 2017 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dolores’ memory to Habitat for Humanity, 800 Paxton St, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
