Donald W. Zinn, 60, died 1 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 1993, at his home.

Born in Hanover, he was the son of the late Donald H. and Esther E. Loss Zinn.  He was the husband of Jean F. Small Zinn, to who he has been married for 39 years.  He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Hanover.

He was a past employee of the Hanover Wire Cloth Division with approximately 16 years of service and more recently BMY, a division of Harsco Corporation, York, with 10 years of service.  He also served in the United States Army during Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in September of 1952.

Surviving also are two daughters, Diane M. Gutshall of Gettysburg and Donna J. Zinn of New Oxford; four sons, Daniel E. Zinn of New Oxford, Terry W. Zinn of Grove City, Ohio, Scott E. Zinn of San Diego, California and Ronald J. Zinn of New Oxford; eight grandchildren and one brother, George L. Zinn of Merced, California.

The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the W.V. Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with the Rev. Luther G. Heist Jr. officiating.  Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.  The viewing will be held Friday evening at the funeral home.

Serving as pall bearers will be: John J. Eckard, John H. Eckard, James E. Eckard, Charles J. Gladfelter, Nevin A. Trish and Timothy A. Maus.
