Doris Jean Warner, 83, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Gettysburg Center.

Born April 22, 1934 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late David and Josephine (Shultz) Bolen.

Doris retired after numerous years of service with Black & Decker.  She enjoyed canning, gardening, and cooking.

Doris is survived by two granddaughters, Tracy Wilmer and husband Justin, and Jaime Lutz, two great-grandchildren, Carlee Wilmer and Tyler Holthaus, and one sister, Peggy Mitchell.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Diane Lutz and one sister, Gloria Ziegler.

A graveside service to celebrate and remember Doris’ life will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 2, 2017 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover, PA.   

Memorial contributions in memory of Doris may be made to the SPCA of York County, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
