Eveline M. Ensminger, 91, of Gettysburg, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Transitions Health Care Center, Gettysburg, PA.

Born July 28, 1926, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Violet L. (Hoff) Sullivan.  Eveline was the loving wife of the late Stanley C. Ensminger who died September 18, 2011.

Mrs. Ensminger was a former member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Abbottstown, PA. 

Eveline was a homemaker and enjoyed needlepoint, embroidery and spending time with her family.

Eveline is survived by her children, Dennis L. Ensminger and wife, Louise of Glenville, PA, and Bonnievie Reams of Hanover, PA; grandchildren, Randy Hunter, Stepheni Reams, Patrick Ensminger, Timothy Ensminger, and Latasha Mobiglia; and great-grandson, Gavin Ensminger.  She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. 

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Eveline will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc. 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Philip K. Nace officiating.  Burial will be in St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eveline’s memory may be made to St. Paul’s Dubs United Church of Christ, 1958 Dubs Church Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
