Guy N. Korman, Jr., 63, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, March 24, 2017 at his residence.

Born April 11, 1953 in Honesdale, PA, he was the son of Dorothy (Grieb) Korman of State College, PA and the late Guy N. Korman, Sr.  Guy was the loving husband of Julia (Shaver) Korman with whom he shared eleven years of marriage.

Guy was a graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in Business.  He was an investment advisor with Securities America for over 20 years.

Mr. Korman was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #14, Hanover, PA, the V.F.W. Post 2506, Hanover, PA, and the McSherrystown Fish & Game Association.  He was a free and Accepted Mason and a member of Old Fort Lodge #537 Centre Hall, PA.

Guy enjoyed hunting, playing pool, playing cards, and golfing.

In addition to his mother, Dorothy, and wife, Julia, Guy is survived by his sons; James G. Korman and Robert G. Korman, one brother; Scott W. Korman of State College, PA, and one sister; Cindy K. Turner of Palm Bay, FL.

Following cremation, a memorial gathering will be held 2 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Timothy Brown officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Guy to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
