Julia J. Heilman, 94, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, PA.

Born June 26, 1921 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Peterman) Heilman.

Julia was a graduate of Eichelberger High School and the Indiana State Teachers College.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Hanover where she sang in the church choir. Julia also was a member of the Hanover Community Singers.

She is survived by her niece, Ellen Shatzer of Laurel, MD, her great-nephews; Eric Shatzer, Todd Shatzer and her great-niece, Donna Shatzer-Ross. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Heilman.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
