Loretta Mae Lawyer, 84, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Autumn House East, York, PA. 

Born February 7, 1933 East Berlin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Carrie (Ruppert) Myers.  Loretta was the loving wife of the late John D. Lawyer, Jr. who died March 16, 1992.

Loretta retried with over 25 years of service at the former Coulson Heel Co. in Hanover.  She was a member of Hope Baptist Church, Hanover, PA.   

Loretta is survived by two sisters, Ethel Swope of Spring Grove, PA and Maryann Douglass of East Berlin, PA.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Romaine Myers and Dorothy Wirick.

A graveside service will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Rest Haven Cemetery, at the corners of Boundary and Westminster Avenue, Hanover, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Allen Harris officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Loretta’s memory may be made to Hope Baptist Church, 6450 Hope Way, Hanover, PA 17331.
