Margaret E. Farley, 91, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s Eternal care, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Home, Gettysburg, PA.

Born October 12, 1924 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Lottie (Schott) Ernst.  She was the loving wife of the late Horace L. Farley who died March 1, 1974.

Margaret was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.  She worked as a supervisor for Hanover Direct for numerous years until her retirement in 1987.

Margaret is survived by her children, Horace L. Farley, Jr. of York PA, Sue Baumgardner of Hanover, PA and Patricia Simpson of Glenville, PA, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and one brother, Robert Ernst of Hanover, PA.   She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Msgr. James Lyons as celebrant.  Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10 -11 AM, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the church.

Serving as casketbearers will be Brad Farley, Larry Simpson, Jr., David Watkins, Joey Watkins, Bryan Baumgardner, and Justin Baumgardner.
