Miriam M. Myers, 95, was carried home by angels to be with her heavenly father on June 22, 2017 at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Miriam was the oldest child of the late Edward L. and Grace I. (Wonder) Bange.  She was the widow of Jacob E. Teal, Jr., Jacob E. Teal, Sr., and W. Harry Myers.

Miriam was a rosarian and at one point had over 75 roses.  She loved gardening and raised all kinds of flowers and vegetables in her lifetime.   She was the kind of mother everyone prays they will get- slow to speak, slow to anger and quick to forgive.  She was a great listener and always gave good advice.

Miriam is survived by a daughter, Jane T. (Edward) Spaide, Sr; a son James E. (Linda0 Teal all of Hanover; grandchildren, Edward J. (Stephanie) Spaide, Jr of Spring Grove, Rebecca E. Teal and Dieter Kozen of Mechanicsburg; great grandchildren, Olivia P. and Owen Spaide; three sisters, Janet white of Lebanon, Sylvia (Robert) Malehorn of Hanover, and Kathy Tomas of Port St. Lucie, FL; and two brothers, Melvin Bange of Glenville, PA and Mearl Bange of Spring Grove.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Houser and Roseanna Landis.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Miriam will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover PA, with the Rev. Jerry E. Shoap officiating.  Burial will be in St. David’s Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the church.

Serving as casketbearers will be Edward Spaide, Jr., Andrew Bange, John Bange, James Bange, Benjamin Bange, and Shawn Malehorn.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Miriam’s memory may be made to Hanover First Church of God Building Fund, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, PA 1731.
