Nathan Alexander Porter, 21, of Biglerville, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Sunday, October 15, 2017.

Born September 17, 1996, in York, PA, he was the loving son of Edward W., III and Robbyn A. (Frock) Porter. 

Nathan graduated from the 21st Century Chapter Charter School.   He was a member of the Boys Scouts, earning his Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow, and Sea Scout.  Nathan worked as a truss maker at NVR in Thurmont, Maryland.

Nathan enjoyed video games, playing League of Legends, roller skating, sketching, and journaling.

In addition to his loving parents, Nathan is survived by one brother, Joshua W. Porter; one sister, Alexxi J. Porter; his maternal grandparents, Wayne & Connie Frock; maternal great grandmother, Mary Frock; and paternal grandparents, Edward Jr. & Victoria Porter.

A service to celebrate and remember Nathan’s life will be held 4:00 PM, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Foursquare Gospel Church, 225 New Chester Road, Gettysburg, PA, with Rev. Mark Chester officiating.  Burial will be in St. David’s Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 3:00-4:00 PM, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nathan’s memory may be made to Boy Scout Troop 70, P.O. Box 486, Arendtsville, PA 17303.
