The Hoffnagle Family,
My thoughts are with each of you during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Paul for 7 years. He taught me things during that time and even though we had a different opinion on a few things, we could always change the subject to hunting, fishing or family to get our minds off of those things. He always talked about his family. I, as many others were shocked to hear of his passing and he will be missed forever. Stay strong in this difficult time.

We have only known Paul for a few short years from his hunting days on the Eastern Shore, but he was a wonderful guy. Good heart, loved his children and his wife very much. He will be missed down here. Our hearts go out to Paul's wife and children. Our deepest simpathy and many prayers to all who loved him.

My heart goes out to the families and friends of Paul...a wonderful man who will be missed by so many. I met Paul through the CFPC "family" and feel so privileged to have met Paul - getting to know him through a shared training and various events. Paul was such a warm person and always had a smile - always positive. The love he shared with you as a family is so evident in the wonderful pictures you shared with all of us...thank you. My thoughts and prayers remain with all of you. Jo Ann

Dear Benae, Emma and Luke,

After being overseas for years, it was a huge blessing to re-connect with Paul a few months ago - meeting Emma and Luke and hearing Paul talk about you, his wonderful family. This also makes it much more difficult to accept the news that it actually happened. I am deeply grieving the loss of my good friend and

I cannot express enough how saddened I was to hear of Paul's passing. I knew Paul, and Luke, through an annual hunting trip in Eastern Shore, MD at Thanksgiving each year (and the short January deer season if we we're lucky enough to make time). We always had a great time together sharing stories in the blinds and at the end of the day. You'd have to pry the crab dip from him, though. He always ate an entire one on his own.

I could go through a bunch of stories and good memories I had with Paul, but what it would come down to is that I'm a better person for having known him. He was one of the kindest, most sincere, easy going men I've ever had the privilege of knowing. As a new father (my daughter is now 11 months old) Paul was such an amazing model of what a dad should be. Paul loved to hunt, but even in the depths of the season, I remember him leaving early to go to a Penn State game with his family, despite all of us questioning his decision. That's the kind of father I want to become. A man who knows that there will always be time to hunt, but time spent with family is invaluable.

I wish you only the best as you learn to live your lives without him. You will all be in my thoughts.
