Richard W. “Dick” Lynch, 69, of Hanover, PA entered God’s care on Friday, July 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 6, 1947 in Cambria Heights, NY, he was the son of the late Richard S. and Mary E. 

(Coulter) Lynch. Dick was the loving husband of Donna M. (Milo) Lynch with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Dick was a 1965 graduate of Harbor Fields High School and attended Plattsburgh University in NY.  He retired from the Social Security Administration after 25 years of service as a computer analyst.

Mr. Lynch was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.  He enjoyed volunteering with his wife in many church and local organizations.

Dick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and participating in Irish cultural events.  He enjoyed traveling and living his life to the fullest.

In addition to his wife, Donna, Dick is survived by his children, Kelly Lynch of Hanover, PA; Kara Lynch of Reisterstown, MD; John Sedlacsik and wife Michele of Warminster, PA; Suzanne Knouse, of New Cumberland, PA; and Shannon Gerow and husband Michael of Hanover, PA; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Jillian, Dylan, Colin, Evan, and Karly; and two sisters-in-law, Sandra Nathanson of Hanover, PA and Janet McClusky of Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lynch.

Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA with Father Ryan M. Fischer as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10 – 11 AM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the church.
