Rose Ann Smith, 75, of Hanover, PA, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, entered God’s Eternal Care Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Home.
Born January 29, 1943 in Hanover, PA she was the daughter of the late Claude H. and Anna A. (Snyder) Felix. She was the loving wife of Robert B. Smith, Sr., with whom she shared fifty-five years of marriage.
Rose was a 1960 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.
Mrs. Smith retired from Hanover House Industries after many years of service.
Rose enjoyed spending time at the ocean, traveling, going on cruises and was especially devoted to her family.
In addition to her loving husband Robert, Rose is survived by her children, Robin E. Molison and husband Christopher D. of Hanover, PA, Kimberly L. Wolf and husband Douglas L. of East Berlin, PA and Robert B. Smith, Jr. and wife Cindy A. of Glenville, PA; nine grandchildren, Colton M. Molison, Tyler S. Molison and wife Anna, Jacob C. Molison, Emily M. Woznica and husband Dan, Hannah R. Molison, Shaun M. Wolf and wife Jessica, Steven C. Loucks, Cody A. Smith and wife Brittany, and Ashton R. Smith; and seven great-grandchildren, Keanu, Jase, Ke’ala, Maura, Alexandra, Oliver and Gavin. She was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Felix.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Monsignor James M. Lyons as celebrant. Burial will be in Annunciation B.V.M. Cemetery, McSherrystown, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the church.
