Roseann M. Ecker, 86, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Transitions Nursing Center, Gettysburg, PA. 

Born April 9, 1931 in Emmitsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Lehr) Bowers.

Roseann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.  She worked at various factories throughout her working career.

Roseann enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo, attending country music concerts, and watching her favorite TV programs as well as spending time with her family.

Roseann is survived by her children, James H. Ecker of Harrisburg, PA, Steven R. Ecker and wife Janet of Hanover, PA, Mark E. Ecker and wife Joli of Hanover, PA, 7 grandchildren, Tracey Fadenrecht and husband John, Tommi Fett and husband Brian, Justin Ecker, Olivia Ecker, Taylor Ecker, Sherri Rhoten, and John Klunk, Jr., 8 great grandchildren, Myka Walker, Lindsay & Brandon Fadenrecht, Tyler & Abigail Fett, Nathaniel Sutherland, Dahlia & Dharma Johnson, and one brother, Charles Bowers of Fayetteville, PA.   She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

A funeral service will be held 7 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6-7 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roseann’s memory may be made to the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine, 339 South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
