Roy E. Geisler, III, 69, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his home. 

Born July 24, 1947 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Pearl T. (Noel) Geisler and the late Roy E. Geisler, Jr. 

Roy was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, Spring Grove, PA, the McSherrystown Home Association, the Hanover Home Association, Hanover VFW post 2506, the Hanover AMVETS post 22, and the Hanover Eagles.

Roy retired after 35 years of service from BAE Systems.

Roy is survived by his son, Roy E. Geisler, IV of Thomasville, PA, 2 grandchildren, Lillie Geisler and Roy E. Geisler V; four sisters, Pat Stambaugh and husband John, Rose Ruth and husband Doodle, Sharon Kline and husband Pat, Theresa Geisler, and Jerry Geisler.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Roy’s life will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with his pastor the Rev. Susan Fritz officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 1, 2017at the funeral home
