Shirley S. Gulden, 82, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at York Memorial Hospital.

Born December 28, 1933 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry N. and Rheda M. (Breighner) Smith.  Shirley was the loving wife of the late James E. Gulden who died March 19, 1997.

Mrs. Gulden was a 1951 graduate of Hanover High School.

Shirley was a self-employed artist.  She was a member and former president of the Hanover Area Arts Guild

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Melinda G. Crawford and husband Rodney W. of Hanover, PA, one granddaughter, Mary Kate L. Higgins of Hanover, PA.

Following Cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Shirley’s life will be held 11 AM, Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Timothy J. Kielley officiating.   Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  the family will receive friends from 10 -11 AM, Monday, December 5, 2016 at the funeral home.
