Born August 8, 1971, in Natrona Heights, PA.  She passed away at her residence on March 26, 2017.

Virginia was an amazing woman who faced many struggles throughout her life.  She overcame many of her struggles within the last several years of her life.  Regardless, of her circumstances she was always full of life and entered the room with her radiant smile, caring heart, contagious laugh and angel voice.

She had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone, but she treasured nothing more than spending time with her granddaughters, Leah and Kaitlynn.  She was thrilled to hear she was going to be having another grandchild.  She loved her family unconditionally and did everything in her power to be with them at every event – going to whatever extreme it was to get there.

She had an angel voice and could sing very well.  She loved to dance, sing, skate, fish and was just a social butterfly.

We cherish the moments we were able to have with her.  She now is in total peace and I’m sure singing her heart out.

V.J. is survived by loving father and mother, Franklin D. Nicolazzo and Shirley Jean (Freshwater) Nicolazzo; her children, Michael A. McMaster and Brandon J. Kelly; her adopted daughter, Stacy Lang; two grandchildren, Leah C. McMaster and Kaitlyn L. Kelly; two brothers, Franklin D. Nicolazzo and Ricci J. Nicolazzo; and a sister, Tammy L. (Crowl) Stricker; her neices and nephews, Latoya Nicolazzo, Zachary Simmers, Sarah Simmers, Hannah Nicolazzo, Ryan Buehrle, Ginetta Fahnestock, Lynzie Fahnestock, Frankie Stricker, Collin Nicolazzo, Airyana Nicolazzo, Lylianne Nicolazzo, Connor Nicolazzo; along with the her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Dorothy J. Yoho and David Freshwater Sr.

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember V.J.’s life will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Philip K. Nace officiating.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1:00-2:00PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the funeral home.
