There will always be patients that leave a mark on my heart, Virginia was one. We had the love of books in common and thought we would meet up at the library. Virginia taught me much about the meaning of patient. She knew herself and that is when listening to a patient is so important. I will miss that smile and enthusiasm for life she had. I do believe that her soul will live on and maybe we will meet up in the library . I know the hole that is left now is painful,but the memories will begin to fill it and bloom with her love for each of you in time. Thank you Virginia for the gifts you gave me.

There are always patients who will leave a mark on my heart ,Virginia is one. Her smile,her love of books and taking control of her health made her one of my favorite patients. She taught me so much in the short times we had together about the meaning of patient. And I do believe her soul will live on and we may meet at the library, as we thought we might sometime. Nursing is not just caring for others but learning from our patients, in ways never taught in school. Thank you Virginia for your gifts you gave me.
