Vivian E. Eline, 94, of Hanover, PA, entered peacefully into God’s eternal care, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, PA.
Born July 15, 1922 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stewart C. and Myrtie (Sterner) Arentz. She was the loving wife of the late Gerald L. Eline who passed away March 2, 2002.
Mrs. Eline was a life-long member of Grace United Church of Christ, Hanover where she volunteered her time in many capacities over the years. She was also a member of the local AARP group.
Vivian is survived by her son, Robert S. Eline and his wife Linda of East Berlin, PA, her daughters; Lois E. Donsen and her husband C. Ed, Jean E. Timmins and her husband Robert, Joanne E. Warner and her husband Craig all of Hanover, PA, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Lewis G. Eline, her brother, Kenneth Arentz, her sisters; Lura Roller, Julia Burns and Marie Strevig.
Funeral services to celebrate and remember Vivian’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Dorothy J. Thormaehlen officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10-11 AM, Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Vivian’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Staff of the Woodbury Unit at the Brethren Home Community and the staff and nurses of the VNA for the care that was given to their Mother. Their compassion and kindness will be remembered.
