Wayne A. Gebhart, 52, of New Oxford, PA, died suddenly Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Gettysburg Hospital with his loving wife and family by his side.

Born April 23, 1965 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick and Dolores (Krebbs) Gebhart. Wayne was the loving husband of Tammy L. (Orner) Gebhart to whom he devoted his heart and soul for their shared 33 wonderful years of marriage.

Mr. Gebhart was a member of McSherrystown Fish & Game.  He was the owner and operator of J&W Landscaping.  He was a life-long cook at INN 94 which was his calling and home away from home since 1982.

Wayne devoted his entire life to his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.  He lived his life to be there to support them in everything they did.  His passion was being active in their lives.

In addition to his wife Tammy, Wayne is survived by his daughters, Alison C. Strock - Mummert and husband Mike of New Oxford, PA, Amy L. Hersh and husband Dustin of Hanover, PA, Andrea R. Gebhart and Fiancé David Pikschus , Jr. of New Oxford, PA, and Ariana E. Gebhart and Fiancé Justin Schmidt of New Oxford, PA; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Cole, Paityn, Blake,  Ava, Tenley, David III, Elizabeth, Lillyana, Olivia, and Bentley; three brothers, Frederick Gebhart, Jr. of Littlestown, PA, Steve Gebhart, Sr. of New Oxford, PA, Tony Gebhart of Littlestown, PA; four sisters, Linda O’Brien of Abbottstown, PA, Cynthia Knopp of Mifflintown, PA, Sharon Koblitz of New Oxford, PA, and Sandy Henry of Hanover, PA.

Wayne will be missed and never forgotten, he was a wonderful man who loved life and his family.  Our love for him will live in our hearts and memories forever.

A service to celebrate and remember Wayne’s life will be held 6 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at New Life Assembly of God, 2136 Baltimore Pike, East Berlin, PA.  Viewings will be held from 12 – 2 and 4-6 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the church.
