Agnes Regina Altland, 81, formerly of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg, PA.
Born April 27, 1937 in Bonneauville, PA, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Eva A. (Weaver) Kuhn.
Mrs. Altland worked for Doubleday for twenty-three years until her retirement in 1999.
Agnes enjoyed playing cards, shopping, going to the beach, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Agnes is survived by her children, Debra A. Klinedinst, Marianne L. Little and husband Mike, and Dennis J. Altland and wife, Brenda, all of Hanover, PA, and Wendy S. Bankert and husband Ted A. of East Berlin; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, John E. Kuhn of Bonneauville, PA; and a sister, Eva Lucabaugh of Glen Rock, PA. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rodney L. Klinedinst; a grandson, Nathaniel J. Little; brothers, Eugene “Ike” Kuhn, Harry W. Kuhn, Charles E. Kuhn, Paul V. Kuhn, Bernard J. Kuhn and Clarence J. Kuhn; and sisters, Mary A. Gastley, Anna M. Aughinbaugh, Emma J. Cassatt, Dorothy J. DeFontes, Rose A. Sentz and Teresa E. Laughman.
A service to celebrate and remember Agnes's life will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Martin Munoz officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the funeral home.
