Arthur G. Goodrich, 81, of Hanover, Pa, surrounded by his family, entered God’s care, Saturday, January
20, 2018 at his home.
Born February 28, 1936 in Scranton, PA, he was the son the late Arthur R. and Mary C. (Neary) Goodrich.
Arthur was the loving husband of Peggy J. (Farmer) Goodrich whom he shared 57 wonderful years of
marriage.
Arthur was a graduate of Johnson Technical School (Johnson College) in Scranton, PA, worked for the
American Can Company and Amp Incorporated, was a Veteran of The United States Air Force and went
on to have a career in The Pennsylvania and The Maryland National Guard. He served his country for a
total of 23 years.
Arthur loved spending time and sharing lots of laughs with his family and spending time at the beach. He
was also a railroad train enthusiast as well as a World War II history buff.
In addition to his wife Peggy, Arthur is survived by 4 children, Gina P. Tarbert (Neil Gross), Angela (Tina)
K. Keplinger (Evers), Lisa J. Bollinger (Dave Orwig) and Patrick A. Goodrich (Michelle), 7 grandchildren;
and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate and remember Arthur’s life will be held at the convenience of the
family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Arthur’s name may be made to Hospice and Community
Care.
