Cleo M. "Pat" Smith

Cleo M.  (Pat) Smith, 96, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center, Hanover, PA. 

Born October 9, 1921 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Reiman W. and Marie (Foeller) Michael.  Pat was the loving wife of the late Chester L. Smith, who passed away June 5, 2017 and with whom she shared sixty-two years of marriage.

Pat attended Hanover Valley Presbyterian Church, Hanover, PA.  She was a legal stenographer in Connecticut and Baltimore for over twenty-two years.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Adams County Human Services Organization, A.A.R.P. Chapter #2812 and the Adams County S.P.C.A.

Pat is survived by her dear friend Jane Peddicord Genovese.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  Burial will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to the Adams County S.P.C.A., 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
