I just heard about the passing of DJ Hart. I am stunned. I had several cases with DJ and although we were not close, we always enjoyed chatting when we saw each other in the courthouse or on the street. Although our cases were very contentious, we never let that interfere with our friendship and looking back I think we settled all of our cases. Neither client was entirely happy so we knew we did a good job! He will be missed.. Condolences to the family.

I relied on DJ's professional expertise for many years. In that time I have known him to be a very compassionate giving person. No matter how busy he would always take the time to help. I will miss his warm sprit and kind heart. We enjoyed seeing him when he picked up food for his card nights. He sure loved the shrimp salad! We are so blessed to have known him .Prayers for his family whom he was so proud of and may God welcome DJ to his reward in heaven.

Dear Hart family

What a sad day. DJ was one of my first and closest friends my freshman year at Johns Hopkins. I spent many a night sleeping on the floor in his dorm room with he and " Pauly" . We hit the lunch meat in the caf and the weight room hard; two western pa kids in a sea of north east folk...funny how we found each other on Homewood field. I will miss him....the memories of og climbing through his window at night ...alley oops...the walks home from "wawa" at 2 am ...all fond memories like it was yesterday.
I am certain he lived a great life and rests in the arms of the lord.

David J. "DJ" Hart was a kind professional whom my husband (Clay) and I relied on to counsel us with the legalities of forming a new business, earlier this year. His kind heart and in depth knowledge was appreciated. Clay and I were touched by his warm personality and that he had a special love of animals. We are sad to learn Attorney Hart has gone to Heaven. What a kind soul he had. May the Lord bring extra strength and comfort to Attorney Hart's family.
