Dean G. Hull, 87, of Glenville, PA, entered God's eternal care, Friday, April 28, 2017, at home with his loving family by his side.

Born April 23, 1930 in New Oxford, PA, he was the son of the late George W. and Fannie (Miller) Hull.  He was the loving husband of Margaret Mae "Peg" (Mummert) Hull with whom he shared 66 ½ years of marriage.

Dean was a 1948 graduate of New Oxford High School.  He was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA. 

Dean retired from SWAM Electric Company, Inc. of Hanover, PA, where he was employed as an electrician for 37 years.

Dean enjoyed hunting, bocce ball, throwing horseshoes, softball, playing cards, wintering in Florida, and being with his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Margaret, Dean is survived by his children, Randy D. Hull of Spring Grove, PA, Tony C. Hull of Hanover, PA, and Sandra L. Sheaffer of New Oxford, PA; 6 grandchildren, Melissa L. Hull, Stacey R. Caufield, Tyler A. Hull, Katie Hull, Amanda L. Sheaffer, Zachariah D. Sheaffer; and four great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Taylor, William and Mia. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Hull.

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Dean will be held 3 PM, Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 124 Broadway, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Russell D. Clark officiating.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends following the service with light refreshments being served at the church.
