Dorothy L. Corocoran

Dorothy L. “Dottie” Corcoran, 89, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Brethren Home at Cross Keys Village.

Born July 14, 1928 in Littlestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Goodheart) Snyder.  Dottie was the loving wife of the late John J. Corcoran who died November 13, 1997.

Mrs. Corcoran was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA as well as Golden Vision’s Senior Center.  She retired from EMECO with over 20 years of service.

Dottie enjoyed cooking, card parties and especially being with her family

Dottie is survived by her two sons, Gregory S. Corcoran of York, PA and Jeffrey L. Corcoran of Hanover, PA, one granddaughter, Jennifer L. Brady.  She was preceded in death by 12 siblings.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Dottie’s life will be held 2:30 PM, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Eric B. Stenman officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1:30 – 2:30 PM, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dottie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
