Frank K. “Turtle” Madison, Jr., 74, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Hanover Hospital. 

Born March 1, 1943 in York, PA, he was the son of the late Frank K., Sr. and Arlene (Fauth) Madison.  Frank was the loving husband of Linda L. (Rohrbaugh) Madison with whom he shared fifty-three and a half years of marriage.

Frank was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, Spring Grove, PA. 

Frank retired after forty years as a manager and grower first with Cremer Florist and secondly with Sieck Floral productions.  After retirement, He worked part-time for South Hills Golf Course, Hanover, PA  

Frank enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Linda, Frank is survived by his children, Joseph D. Madison and wife, Stacey of Spring Grove, PA, Timothy L. Madison of Abbottstown, PA and Thomas E. Madison of Spring Grove, PA; eight grandchildren, Cody and wife Adrienne, Drew, Paige, Nathan, Trinity, Gabby, Ashley and Joshua; three great-grandchildren, Kailey, Paisley and Kenslee; a brother, Ronald Madison of Spring Grove, PA; and a sister, Shirley Bowman of Hanover, PA.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Frank’s life will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Bill Mummert officiating.  Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the funeral home.

Serving as casketbearers will be Cody Madison, Drew Madison, Joshua Madison, Joseph Madison, Timothy Madison and Thomas Madison.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 – N. Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403 or to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
