Irene C. (Gebhart) Pfaff, 86, of Bonneauville, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at her son’s home surrounded by her family.

Born March 7, 1931 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Groft) Gebhart.    Irene was the loving wife of the late Gerald L. Pfaff with whom she shared 66 years of marriage until his passing on May 4, 2016.

Mrs. Pfaff was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, (Bonneauville) Gettysburg, PA. 

Irene is survived by seven children, Gerald Pfaff, Sr. and companion Gail Benson of Biglerville, PA, Brenda Pfaff-Lee and husband Joseph of Littlestown, PA, Lawrence Pfaff and wife Chris of Gettysburg, PA, Cathy Pfaff-Neiman and husband Tom of New Oxford, PA, Susan Pfaff of New Oxford, PA, David Pfaff and wife Roni of New Oxford, PA, and John Pfaff and wife Diana of Biglerville, PA, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four siblings, Sister Betty of Harrisburg, PA, Raymond Gebhart, James Gebhart, and Thomas Gebhart all of Gettysburg, PA.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Pfaff, and one brother, Joseph Gebhart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM, Monday, May 1, 2017, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 12 East Hanover Street, Bonneauville, PA, with Father Peter E. DiTomasso officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Cemetery.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, Bonneauville, PA, with a prayer service at 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice Program of the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
