Katherine E. Warner

Katherine E. Warner, 79, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, February 23, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born November 14, 1938 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl C. and Katherine E. (Boose) Keith.  Katherine was the loving wife of Richard D. Warner with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Mrs. Warner was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, and Porters Community Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

For the last 7 ½ years Katherine was on a tracheostomy and went without solid food.  She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed the T.V. Soap Operas, and especially enjoyed being with her family.

In addition to her husband Richard, Katherine is survived by five children, Kathy D. Altland, Lake Meade, PA, Cindy A. Storm, New Oxford, PA, Judith E. Dell, Hanover, PA, Richard D. Warner, Jr. of Bair Station, PA, and Patricia J. Warner of Hanover, PA, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Helen M. Cape of Hanover, PA and Judith D. Felts of York Springs, PA.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Katherine’s life will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc. 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with Rev.  Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10 – 11 AM, Wednesday, February 28, 20178 at the funeral home.
