Kirra N. Broadwater

Kirra Nicholl Broadwater, 10, of York, PA, gained her angel wings on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born March 1, 2008 in Hanover, PA, she was the loving daughter of Nicholl M. (Broadwater) Felty of Hanover, PA and Dennis O. Coruzzi of York, PA.  Kirra is also survived by step father Edward Felty, Sr.; two brothers, Bryson and Parker Coruzzi; two sisters, Hayley Coruzzi and Rain Becker; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Lisa Weil and Joseph Bair; and paternal grandparents, Dennis Coruzzi, Sr. and Melody Tibbs.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Darrell Broadwater.

Kirra had many loved ones including her Aunt Sarah (Pickle) Kehring and her husband Kevin Kehring, Aunt Christen (Boudie) Muenzing and her husband Wayne Muenzing; Tiffany (TT) Groft and Christine (MeeMaw) Groft; Mariah Jemison and countless other family and friends.

Kirra attended North Hills Elementary School in York, PA, and Friendship Church in Dover, PA.

Kirra loved arts and crafts, puzzles, fishing, swimming, and travelling to Boiling Springs to feed the ducks and swans.  Kirra’s favorite stuffed animal was a golden lab dog named “Josh” who stayed with her at all times during her journey with leukemia.

Viewings and times to share memories with the family will be held from 2:00-4:00PM and from 6:00-8:00PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kirra’s memory to the Four Diamond’s Fund, 1249 Cocoa Ave #115, Hershey, PA 17033.
