Linette J. Sterner, 75, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Hanover Hospital. 

Born February 13, 1942 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Odessa (Hendricks) Sterner.

Linette was a 1960 graduate of Eichelberger High School.  She was a cake decorator for Hoke’s Bakery for many years before working at Doubleday, Inc. as a bookbinder for 20 years until her retirement.

Ms. Sterner was a member of St. Bartholomew’s United Church, ELCA where she was an active volunteer.

Linette enjoyed stamp collecting, cooking and baking.

Linette is survived by one sister, Charlene T. Stonesifer and husband Harvey of Littlestown, PA, one niece, Dawn M. Williams, and one great nephew, Harley A. Williams, as well as many friends.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Linette’s life will be held 11 AM, Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. David DeLong officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10 – 11 AM, Friday, September 1, 2017 at the funeral home.
