Mildred Marie Geiman, 90, of Manchester, MD, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, January 21, 2019 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Born June 14, 1928, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Margie (Markline) Warner. Mildred was the loving wife of Harold L. Geiman with whom she shared seventy-four years of marriage.
Mrs. Geiman was a member of St. David’s Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, where she was an active volunteer and a member of RAP.
Mildred was a store clerk at Therit’s Market for over twenty years. She enjoyed cooking, canning and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband Harold, Mildred is survived by her children, David L. Geiman and wife Rebecca of Westminster, MD, Joyce M. Wheeler and husband Gary of Hampstead, MD, Robert H. Geiman, Sr. and wife Susan of Manchester, MD, Wayne L. Geiman of Manchester, MD, and Dennis R. Geiman and wife Patty of Hampstead, MD; twenty grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty M. Flickinger of Hanover, PA. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kayla M. Hrycek; six brothers, William Warner, Leroy Warner, Mark Warner, Clarence Warner, Alvin Warner and Mervin Warner; and five sisters, Pauline Bankert, Pearl Bachman, Clara Sager, Carrie Sager and Garmie Vinson.
A Funeral Service to celebrate and remember Mildred’s life will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. David’s Lutheran Church, 1032 Musselman Road, Hanover, PA, with Pastor LaDonna Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. David’s Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, and from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, January 25, 2019 at the church.
