Peter A. Mendicino

Peter A. Mendicino, 77, of York, PA and formerly of Glenville, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, November 2, 2018 at the York Hospital. 

Born June 26, 1941 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Patricia (Pagano) Mendicino.  Peter was the loving husband of Camille C. (Castle) Mendicino with whom he shared fifty-three and a half years of marriage.

Peter retired from Northrup Grumman in 2003, having worked as an engineering manager for over twenty years.  He was a member of the American Sighthound Field Association, the IEEE, ISHM, Tortoise & Hare Lure Courses, the Mason Dixon Ibizan Hound Club, and the Upper Chesapeake Bay Saluki Club.

In addition to his loving wife Camille, Peter is survived by his son, Peter A. Mendicino, Jr. and wife Robyn of Red Lion, PA; three grandsons, Ryan, Eric and Jason; and two sisters, MaryAnn Mingoia of Plantation, FL and Joanne Viloria of Trophy Club, TX. 

A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held 6:00-8:00PM, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.   Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
