Randolph C. “Randy” Reck, 70, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, September 23, 2017, at his home, with his loving family by his side. 

Born February 4, 1947, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Cletus C. and Louella (Becker) Reck.  Randy was the loving husband of Judy E. (Lemmon) Reck with whom he shared forty-two years of marriage.

Randy was a 1965 graduate of Hanover High School, Hanover, PA, and attended the Baltimore Institute, Baltimore, MD.  He retired in 2013, after fifty years of service as a buyer for Hanover Shoe, Clarks Bostonian and Genesco Shoe.

Randy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hanover, PA.

Randy enjoyed watching NASCAR, boating and spending time with his family. 

In addition to his loving wife, Judy, Randy is survived by a daughter, Gina Kurtz of Hanover, PA; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Christopher Reck of Pocatello, ID. 

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Randy’s life will be held 11 AM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Steve Salisbury officiating.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Randy’s name may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 1528 Walnut Street, Suite 2020, Philadelphia, PA 19102 or to the SPCA of York County, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
