Rebecca Ann Yealy

Rebecca Ann Yealy, 77, of Littlestown, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Born April 9, 1941, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J., Sr. and Mildred (Whisler) Conrad.  Rebecca was the loving wife of Dean Yealy, with whom she would have shared 56 years of marriage on August 18, 2018.

Rebecca graduated from St. Vincent’s Elementary School and then from Delone Catholic High School in 1959.

Mrs. Yealy was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Littlestown, PA.  She worked for the Littlestown Area School District in food services for twenty years until her retirement.  Prior to working at Littlestown, she donated her life to raising her children and caring for others.

Rebecca enjoyed cooking and helping others, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and being there for her family.

In addition to her loving husband, Dean, Rebecca is survived by her children, Rock A. Yealy of Hanover, PA, Deanna E. Topper of Littlestown, PA, Rick A. Yealy of Littlestown, PA, Danine E. Bitting of Mt. Joy, PA and Darbye E. Smeak of Littlestown, PA; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara A. Staub, and Cecelia E. Conrad both of Hanover, PA.  She was preceded in death by a son, Ryan A. Yealy; a brother, Raymond J. Conrad, Jr.; and a sister Sylvia M. Conrad. 

As per Rebecca’s wishes, following cremation, services will be in private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens.    

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rebecca’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 .
