Robert K. Hoffacker

Robert K. (Bob) Hoffacker, 89 of New Oxford, PA passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018.  Born, September 1, 1929 to the late Jesse and Catharine Hoffacker. 

He married Nadine Mummert.  She preceded him in death, September 24, 1979.

He married Sandra Unger.  She preceded him in death, August 18, 2018.

He was a veteran serving during the Korean War.  He retired from New Way, Hanover, PA and was a member of Hanover First Church of God, Hanover, PA.

He is survived by two brothers: William Hoffacker (late Pheobe) and Rodney Hoffacker, both of Colorado. Two sisters:  Betty Biava (Jack) and Shirley Nelson (Dale), both of Colorado.  Step-Children: daughter, Winneta (Ted) of Morris, PA,

son, Richard Day (Ruth) of Tioga, PA, son, Bruce Day (Angela) of Denver, CO, daughter, Christy Lohnes (Kevin) of Enola, PA. Nine Step-Grandchildren: Barry Hutton, Rebecca Hemling, Corey Seaman, Jason Day, Matthew Day, Josh Edwards, Nate Edwards, Erik Lohnes and Shelby Lohnes. Seven Step-Great Grandchildren:  David, Lily, Jacob, Hannah, William, Evalyn and Tatum.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Burnell Hoffacker (late Thelma).

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Robert’s life will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with his Pastor the Rev. Dan Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.   A visitation will be held from 11AM-12 PM, Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at the funeral home.
