Robert Lee Stewart, 66, of Dallastown, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Friday, April 27, 2018 at UMPC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.
Born January 30, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James Edward and Norma (Holt) Stewart. Robert was the husband of Rebecca L. (Knight) Stewart.
Mr. Stewart was a member St. Paul’s Evangelical Congregational Church, York, PA. He was a volunteer at the York Mission as well.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Marines having served from 1971 to 1976, where he was given a congressional audition to ply the drums in the U.S. Drum & Bugle Corp.
Mr. Stewart worked as a warehouse manager and photographer. His hobbies included photography, golf, jazz music, and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by three sons, Austin T. Stewart and Grayson C. Stewart both of Reisterstown, MD, and Robert M. Stewart of Parkville, MD; three sisters, Nancy (Stewart) Morris, Joanna Stewart; and Karen (Stewart) Vincent; and one nephew, Jimmy Morris; and one niece, Jennifer (Morris) Norfolk.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church of Glyndon, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136. Burial will be at a later date, in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
