Ronald L. Fringer, 64, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Carroll Hospital. 

Born November 27, 1952 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Charles L. and Hilda M. (Brown) Fringer.

Ronald attended Francis Scott Key High School and was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country proudly during the Vietnam War.

Ronald was a member of the American Legion Post 120 Taneytown, MD, the V.F.W. Post 6918, Harney, MD, the McSherrystown Moose, and a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, AERIES 2226, Littlestown.

Ronald worked for Richard F. Kline, Inc. paving contractor of Frederick, MD and then C. J. Miller, where he retired from.

Ronald loved to do anything outdoors, such as hunting, still target shooting, camping, drinking beer around the campfire, riding his motorcycle, and getting together with friends and family whenever he could.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is survived by two daughters, Tina Marie Fringer of Westminster, MD, Shannon R. Burke and husband Nick of Dundalk, MD, one son, Brian Shaffer and wife Jana of Abingdon, MD, one step-son, Keith Walbrecher of Dundalk, MD, 10 grandchildren, and three sisters, Marsha Pittinger and husband Francis of Keymar, MD, Donna Sharar and husband Bentley of Littlestown, PA, and Shelly Losier and husband Samuel of Latrobe, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and share memories from 11 AM – 1 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Hanover Railside Banquet Center, 241 N. Railroad Street, Hanover, PA

Contributions may be made in Ronald’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave, York, PA 17403.
