Sandra Lynn "Sandy" Ford Stewart

Sandra Lynn “Sandy” Ford Stewart passed away August 22, 2018 at the York Hospital Well Span with her family by her side.

Sandy was born in the York Hospital on October 4, 1952 the daughter of the late Herbert Price Ford, Jr. and Margie Iona (Perry) Ford.

She attended Towson High School and had various jobs as head cook in restaurants and satellite schools and for several years managed a card and gift store.

Sandy had a big heart and befriended everyone she met.  She was very much loved and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Tayborie Margie Fisch of Westminster, MD, siblings, Russ “Bo” Ford of Towson, MD, Herb Ford, III of Parkton, MD, William Ford of Shrewsbury, PA, Ruby Noble of Hanover, PA, Donna Hertrich of Hampstead, MD, Brenda Baker of TN, her beloved pet dachshund “Dottie”, and two ex-husbands, Bob Fisch of DE, and William Stewart of Ocean City, MD, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Alma (Teeny) Crouse, Stewartstown, MD.

As per Sandy’s wishes she will be cremated and a service will be held on her birthday, October 4, 2018 at the Ocean City Beach.

A memorial luncheon for family and close friends will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. North Pointe Community Building, 444 Parkview Lane, Hanover, PA 17331.
