Wayne Michael Shearer

Wayne Michael Shearer, 54, of Seven Valleys, and formerly of Jefferson, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Manor Care South, York, PA.

Born June 15, 1963 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Clayton H. and Minnie C. (Albright) Shearer. 

Wayne was a 1981 graduate of Spring Grove High School.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, (Jefferson) Codorus, PA.

Wayne is survived by his siblings, Dolores Snyder and husband Robert, Darlene Masimore and husband Richard, Jean Riddle, Laverne Shearer and wife Glenda, Samuel Shearer and wife Holly, and Ray Shearer, Sr.  He was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Malcolm Riddle.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Wayne’s life will be held 11:00 Am, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with his Pastor, the Rev. Sean Titus officiating.  Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery.  Viewings and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, January 29, 2018 and from 10 – 11 AM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the funeral home.

Serving as casketbearers will be Laverne Shearer, Samuel Shearer, Ray Shearer, Sr., Bryan Knisley, Shawn Garrett, and Jason Shearer.
