Amy L. Sager, 85, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Hanover Hall Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Born March 27, 1940, in Heidelburg Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Park S. and Creeda M. (Miller) Wagner. Amy was the loving wife of the late Roy H. Sager, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage until his passing on September 10, 2001.
Amy worked at the Brethren Home for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Hanover Moose.
Amy enjoyed socializing with her friends, singing karaoke, and spending time with her family.
Amy is survived by three children, Lori A. Axe and fiancé, Randy L. Angel of Spring Grove, PA, Dennis E. Sager of Hanover, PA and Tony E. Wagner and wife Sheryl R. of Hanover, PA; four grandchildren, Courtney L. Axe, Scott Z. Pennewill, Todd E. Wagner, and Tony E. Wagner, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren, Austin D. Pennewill, Bailey Z. Pennewill, Brady E. Wagner, Gwen M. Wagner, Gabi F. Wagner, Austin P. Wagner, and Brynlee H. Wagner. She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Vicky L. Shriver; and two siblings, Harold G. Wagner and Doreen M. Gemmill.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Amy will be held 11AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be from 6-8PM, Monday, July 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
