Anna E. Mancha, 85, of Stewartstown, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA, with loving family by her side.
Born September 26, 1937, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late David H. and Annie E.M. (Jones) Stremmel. Anna was the loving wife of the late Robert L. Mancha with whom she shared 50 years of marriage until his passing on May 15, 2005.
Anna was a lifelong member of Black Rock Church of the Brethren, where she taught Bible school to children for many years. She was also a Member of the Manchester Maryland Senior Center.
Anna attended Eichelberger High School. She worked at the Conewago Dairy for a few years and retired from the Victory Restaurant after many years of service as a well-loved waitress.
Anna enjoyed going to dinner theaters and going dancing with her husband and many friends. She loved baking and making huge meals for all occasions, going to family reunions, celebrating holidays, birthdays and special occasions, and having Easter Egg painting parties. Anna always made everyone feel special and Family was most important to her.
Anna is survived by her children, Debbie A. (Mancha) Wolicki and husband Steve of Garner, NC, Wayne R. Mancha of Carlisle, PA, 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Smith and husband Jed, Steven Mancha and wife Kayla, Shane Wolicki, and Britany Mancha, 5 great grandchildren, Aidan Mancha, Elliott Mancha, Braxton Smith, Weston Mancha, and Austin Smith, and three brothers, Clyde R. Stremmel, Kenneth G. Stremmel, and Dale J. Stremmel, and one daughter-in-law Karen Mancha. She was preceded in death by one son, Tony A. Mancha, two brothers, Merle D. Stremmel and Nevin Stremmel, and a sister, Marie G. Berwager.
A funeral service will be held 11 Am, Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Black Rock Church of the Brethren, 3864 Glenville Road, Glenville, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Brandon Grady officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitations will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA and from 10-11 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the church.
