Anne Mozealous Erickson, 80, of York, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Seaton Springwood Assisted Living in York, PA.
Born July 17, 1943, in Richmond, VA, she was daughter to the late Guy Angle and Mary Virginia (Clark) Greenawalt. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 26 years, William Everett Mozealous. Anne is survived by her second husband Eugene Michael Erickson, with whom she shared 21 years of marriage.
Anne graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL, class of 1961. Later, she attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in art history in 1965. She was a member of the Aplha Phi Sorority.
Anne worked as a computer programmer for about 30 years at Galileo International, COVIA and United Airlines until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of the Episcopal church.
In her free time, Anne enjoyed woodworking, sewing and needlework, playing bridge, gardening, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her loving husband Eugene, Anne is survived by her children, Susan Marion and husband Paul of York, PA, Karen Hermack and husband Steve of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and David Mozealous and wife Run of Golden, CO, eight grandchildren, Sophia Marion, William Marion, Colin Hermack, Justin Hermack, Matthew Hermack, Akairo Pot, Connor Erickson, and Ethan Erickson. Anne also leaves behind three siblings, Mary Dunbar and husband Jeff Dunbar of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Frey and husband Dan Frey of Abbottstown, PA, and Andrew Greenawalt and wife Janice Greenawalt of Long Grove, IL.
Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 890 McCosh Street, Hanover, PA 17331, with Rev. Carenda Baker officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
