Anthony L. "Tony" Laughman

Anthony (Tony’) Lee Laughman, 75, of Hanover, PA entered the kingdom of heaven on Sunday, January 25, 2026. He is survived by his wife Sue E. Laughman, daughter Melissa Haro, son Kevin Laughman (Deborah), grandchildren Brittany Felix (Leonel), David Haro (Mariam), and Joseph Egusquiza (Alex), and great grandchildren, brother Lanny Laughman (Jean), sisters Edie Staub (Greg) and Laurie Williams (Dodd). He is predeceased by his parents Clyde R. and Miriam Laughman, son Brian J. Laughman (Ingrid), granddaughter Brianna G. Haro, and brothers Phil Laughman (Lisa) and Steve Laughman (Lynne).

Tony attended the University of Notre Dame and was a graduate of York College. He spent his years as an avid golfer and cheered on Notre Dame football as he traveled the world with his beloved wife. Some of his most notable adventures included trekking the African savannah, exploring the Amazon in Peru, and enjoying the coastal waters of Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Jamaica. Most recently, Tony and his loving wife celebrated their 50th anniversary by visiting their 50th and final state, North Dakota, and he ventured across the Mighty 5 in Utah with his son Kevin where he had the joy of meeting his soon to be daughter-in-law for the first time. Now his bright smile is lighting up the heavens as he embarks on his greatest journey yet with his son Brian at his side.

A funeral mass will be held to celebrate and remember Tony’s life on February 4, 2026, at 11:00 am. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 5505 Grandview Rd., Hanover, PA 17331. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
