Audrey C. Fuhrman

Audrey C. Fuhrman, 85, entered into God's eternal care Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Forest Hill Heights Nursing Center.

Born December 24, 1938, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Edward J.  and Velma C. (Leppo) Sterner. Audrey was the loving wife of the late Garland J. Fuhrman with whom she shared 44 years of marriage until his passing on April 10, 2005.

Audrey graduated from Eichelberger High School in 1957.  She worked at the Hanover Bowling Center for over 20 years until her retirement.

Audrey was a member of  Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA, and former member of St. Bartholomew’s United Church of Christ.                                       

Audrey is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law of Bel Air, MD, Daniel T. and wife Laura Fuhrman, and their children, Luke T. Fuhrman and wife Cara, Carleigh A. Markee and husband Matthew, and Sara E. Fuhrman and fiancé Aaron O’Dell;  Chris M. Fuhrman and wife Aga, and their daughter Chelsea A. Fuhrman, one brother, Ned L. Sterner and wife Dawn of Hanover, PA, and one sister-in-law, Marsha Sterner of Doylestown, PA.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene E. Sterner and Glenn W. Sterner and two brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law, Homer and Janet Fuhrman and Lowell and Doris Fuhrman.

A service to celebrate and remember Audrey will be 11 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
